Policies
FOR MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION:
- Electronic submission of articles is encouraged. These should be sent as email attachments to edification@psy.edu.
- Alternatively, please send four typewritten, double-spaced hard copies of the manuscript to Timothy A. Sisemore, Ph.D., Executive Co-Editor of Edification, Psychological Studies Institute, 1815 McCallie Avenue, Chattanooga, TN, 37404. A standard font such as Times New Roman 12 should be utilized. Three of the four copies should delete the author’s name on the title page for purposes of blind review. For any accepted paper, the author will be required to submit a computerized copy using Microsoft Word software. This can be mailed on a floppy disk to the above address, or sent as an attachment to the email address above.
- Follow the guidelines on format, style, and submission procedure in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th ed.) (1200 17th Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20036). Among other things, ensure the use of non-sexist language.
- Please do not submit a manuscript which has been published previously or is being considered for publication by another journal.
- Include an abstract of no more than 150 words. (If typewritten, please include on a separate sheet of paper.)
- Limit the manuscripts to 25 double-spaced pages, excluding tables, figures, and references.
- Include the following current vita information for each author: degree, title and address. Include telephone number, fax number, and electronic mail address if available.
- All submitted manuscripts will be acknowledged promptly and processed as quickly as possible.
