Edification: The Interdisciplinary Journal of the Society for Christian Psychology

The Society of Christian Psychology is proud to announce that its primary publication, Edification, will be transformed from a newsletter into a journal beginning with the next volume. Edification: The Journal of the Society of Christian Psychology will initially be published twice a year. Researchers interested in advancing the goals of a Christian psychology are encouraged to begin submitting manuscripts immediately.

Published in this new journal will be empirical, theoretical, and applied articles dealing with the stated goals of the Society for Christian Psychology. Contributions from diverse disciplines will be encouraged, as long as they remain relevant to the broad domain of Christian psychology. In other words, papers will be accepted not only from psychologists, but also from those working in other disciplines like theology, philosophy, the psychology of religion, and pastoral ministry, to mention on a few of the possibilities. Those interested in the submitting book reviews or interviews with scholars working in the general area of Christian psychology should discuss that possibility with the editors.
